The McHenry County gun owner who shot himself in the foot last week failed to be from McHenry County:

A pair of Lake County sheriff's deputies are being credited with saving the life of a Mundelein-area man who accidentally shot himself in the leg Saturday.

One gun guy from McHenry County said: "We consider Mundelein to be an honorary McHenry County municipality."
