McHenry County Befogged

An actual unretouched screencap from McHenry County's #1 fakenews source, the McHenry County Blog:

Message of the Day – Social Distancing
Did the tiredout taxfighters at the McHenry County Blog catch, red-handed, members of the Illinois Congressional delegation flouting social distancing norms?

Judging from those winter coats and knowing Washington DC's subtropical climate, your LakeCountyEye guesses the photo was from around Jan. 4, 2019:

Rep. Cheri Bustos, second from left, joins House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, center, and fellow Illinois Democratic Reps. Robin Kelly, from left, Jan Schakowsky and Lauren Underwood at the Capitol on Jan. 4, 2019. Bustos has fared exceedingly well in Trump country.

Democrats, take note: Rep. Cheri Bustos shows how it's done

Thanks for the correction, Nancy.

Yep, Cal's blog is plagued with nitwits, misogynists, and grumpy old men. It's a shameful reality. Take a look at comments in Washington Post articles and you'll see their counterparts. Our country is full of 'em.
But his blog also viewed by a large, educated, rational silent set who rely on his and John Lopez's posts to provide another perspective to the dearth of quality information available to McHenry County.
It's interesting how you characterize tax watchers, as if holding taxing agencies accountable is a bad thing.
He's honorable enough to admit mistakes and make corrections. You might strive for the same approach rather than resorting to juvenile criticisms that make you look insecure.
