Human Trafficking Here and Elsewhere

The Department of Homeland Security defines human trafficking as "modern day slavery (that) involves the use of force, fraud or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex." It is considered to be the third-largest criminal activity in the world, behind drugs and arms trafficking, and is estimated to be a $32 billion industry. A panel of experts will discuss the scope of the problem and ways to address the issues and work towards solutions.
