I Came, I Shaw, I Conked Out

Did Mark Shaw back the Kansas City Chiefs? If he did he's been backing a lot of losers lately.

Undisputed Chairman of the Lake County GOP, Mark Shaw is currently backing Jim Oberweis, as well as acting as his legal representative. Oberweis is still trying to get his 2020 election loss overturned, and filed an objection with the US Congress:

Shaw also backed his own failed attempt to become the new Chair of the Illinois State GOP. The Chairmanship went to some guy from Springfield, while Shaw gets credit for being ...

a sometimes controversial figure who previously sought the chairmanship. Shaw orchestrated the December effort among hard-liners that led former Cook County Commissioner Tim Schneider to agree to step down as party leader with more than a year left in his term.

One GOP observer observed: "It's too early to count out Mark Shaw. He can still file an appeal with Judge Judy!"
